Harvard Square
Well, it was not official, but I did make my way through part of the Harvard campus today on my way to the doctor. It has beautiful brick buildings surrounded by lots of green grass and tall trees. I did see your "typical" Harvard student with the maroon and white stripe bow tie and all! At this point in the year I had hoped to see more fall foliage, but it is just too hot out here. I hope to have pictures of the New England fall colors soon! On a separate note, I have been subbing around the Boston area in the last two weeks and have loved it. The part that is hard is that it is not my own classroom, but the part that is great, is that at the end of the day I can just leave and have no worries or thoughts of the next day and what needs to be done. I have been doing a lot of walking for these sub jobs, so I should be on my way to some rock hard quads (hehe). Finally, I get to go home on Wednesday of next week and see fam and friends! My mom is celebrating her birthday on the 4th so keep an eye out for those pictures as well! Chat soon!

Mom's Visit to Boston
My mamasita came to visit Boston in September and was our first guest at Casa Langlois (hehe). We had a blast walking around Boston, shopping, exploring, pampering ourselves with facials, and walking most of the Freedom Trail. The weather was perfect while she was here...not too hot, and thankfully, not too cold. We enjoyed working out at the gym together and shopping at Whole Foods. Below are some pictures from her visit:
Enjoying dinner together at Scollay Square in our neighborhood!
This is a picture taken in the Boston Public Garden, a park that Justin and I walk through quite a bit because it is on our route to so many things.
Look at that Entree....a little (or a lot shall I say) of yummy lobster risotto next to a large hunk-o-meat! Justin enjoyed the leftovers the next day.
We made Mom our "famous" and favorite steak salad.
This was the view out of our living room window as the sun was setting on Mom's last night here in Boston. Let' be honest though, it is really the window in our kitchen, living, room, and dining room...hehe...can you say small living space!

More pictures of Yellowstone
More Pictures of our trip are below!
Look at these colors created by all of the natural activity of the earth! Might I add that the smell given off by all the sulfur was not pleasant!
It's snack time for this Buff
We thought this was a really neat picture of the circle of life...here you see the re-growth from the devistating fire in Yellowstone back in 1988 (I think).
A beautiful Elk enjoying the sun!

Visiting Yellowstone
While in Red Lodge we took a short trip to Yellowstone National Park to do some hiking and sight seeing. The geothermal activity and abundant wildlife makes this park truly unique. We were busy little bees for the few days we were in the park.
Red Lodge Trip: The Archery Course
Justin and I were able to visit his parents in Red Lodge, MT in the beginning of September while he completed his yearly flight training with Big Sky. The weather was beautiful while we were visiting, so we were able to spend time in the great outdoors. Below are pictures from the archery course that Rick and Angie spend many hours setting up every year. It has a lot of detail to it, so let's just hope the general public does not find out about it, because I do believe they would be all about it! I did not shoot on this particular night, but will give it a shot on our next trip (we have to get a bow that has the correct draw length for me to be able to shoot). I did find out that I am left eye dominant though-kinda neat! Justin, Angie, and Rick all shoot really well and hit a lot of orange (the area marked by an orange circle, signifying the "kill" region near the heart). It was a beautiful night when we walked the course.
