Mother's Day Part 2: The Garden

It only seems fitting on Mother's Day to create a post in honor of my Mom's garden. My Mom loves her garden, spending time perfecting it, and the relaxation it creates. My parents are always tweaking the front yard to create a beautiful scene and wonderfully fragrant roses. As the saying goes...many neighbors stop to smell the roses. Below are a few pictures taken of the family enjoying the garden after an amazing Mother's Day brunch!

Baby Dylan

In the last few weeks when I have seen Dylan he has been peacefully sleeping, so the pictures below are from my Mom's camera...some old and some new, but nothing from the last week or two. He is getting so big, smiling, interacting with people, and much more. Jilli recently celebrated her 25th Birthday, as well as her first Mother's Day. Justin and I are so happy for Jilli and Eric and look forward to memories of the future!

Lily's First Communion

My cousin Lily recently celebrated her First Communion down in the Bay Area. Justin and I were not able to attend, but my Mom said it was a really nice service with a great atmosphere. Lily enjoyed every moment of the day and embraced her Catholic teachings with many of her peers. Below are a few pictures taken by my Mom.
Congratulations Lily!

MIA

It has been over a month since I have posted on the blog and I have missed it dearly. Justin and I went without the Internet in our home for a month or so, but now we are back in business and looking forward to sharing our lives with you. Thank you so very much for checking back from time to time, because we really do love keeping in contact and sharing our life with you. We hope you are all enjoying this wonderful time of year, and don't forget, all the pictures that you see can be saved to your own computer!
Love,
Morgan Marie

Melissa Morelli Photography

A wonderful friend of mine, Melissa, is developing an Event Photography Business and I could not be happier for her. For as long as I can remember, Melissa was always the one bringing along a camera to capture the moments and memories of our lives, and now she is finally taking that passion and skill that she shares with everyone she knows and loves, and starting a business. I am so ecxited for her and the opportunities this will provide for her. Below are just a few pictures she has taken in the last few months that I really enjoy, hoewever they don't even do her talents justice! Jilli's Birthday...the big 25!

Many of us gathered at Ravenous to celebrate Jilli's Birthday over some good food, tasty wine, and wonderful company! Dylan even joined us and let his Mamma enjoy the evening by sleeping through it all. Below are only a few so-so pictures, mainly because we were in a pretty dim setting and I feel as though a bright flash annoys people. Many of you may be wondering where the pictures of Dylan are...and I promise they will be coming soon.
Our family is great at embarrassing others while singing, not only the Happy Birthday song, but also "Kings and Queens" to top it off (a song learned at camp many years ago).

Grandpa Murray loves looking in on little Dylan and pushing him in his stroller.

This next picture has nothing to do with Jilli's Birthday, but my, ADD husband (not really)! Justin loves to play with things (really anything) when he is at the table. At Ravenous there were a few tangerines in the center of the table for decor, and by the end of the night one of them appeared spotted...you can take a guess as to who did it??!!

Giants Opening Day

Murray and I took the Ferry to Opening Day at SBC Park! It had been a long time since I had been to a Giants game, and even though they may not be the best team, it was still really neat to be back at the park! Since it was Opening Day, we got the the park just as it opened to share in the many festivities happening. I can't wait to go to a few more games this season!
