Fall is in the air...

Well, not really in temperature, but if you looked at my front porch and around the house you would most definitely think so :) Justin is very proud of our garden or as he calls it, The Langlois Family Farm. The pumpkins you see below are from our garden. AND, he already has next years seeds on order...be very scared...he's going for BIGGER and better next year. We hope you are enjoying the sounds, sights, smells, and FOOD of fall! I am off to plan some fun fall dinners :)

6 months old

Where oh where did the time go? Our little one is moving and grooving, sitting up, and developing just as he should for a 6 MONTH OLD! Yikes! Am I prepared for this?? This being an active little one, parenting that involves discipline, etc. I feel like these things are right around the corner. Well, I can't worry too much about that, but instead I can focus on how much fun this age is! Noah is so into the world (as if he wasn't already alert eh?). My favorite thing lately is watching him observe people in conversation. We saw some friends along the road the other night as we were going for a walk and as Justin was talking back and forth with them Noah was intently watching the person talking. His eyes would switch back and forth as he observed the person talking. It was so fun to see him that focused and into conversation. I had some fun the other day taking photos of Noah outside (his most favorite place in the world). He wasn't super smiley because he was very into the fact that he was SITTING UP outside. All he wanted to do was look around, but it was still very fun!

Here's a sneak peek at some pumpkin shots...his first reaction was funny. The pumpkin was very bumpy (and home grown) and he wasn't sure how he felt about that. In no time he had it in his mouth though :)

A few more pictures...

Babysitting Jenna and going for a walk...their hands were all over each other...it was hysterical, or so Noah thought...

I just love this face! Apparently we are teaching him early ;)

Puppies!!

For those of you who know me well, you know I would NEVER pass up an
opportunity to see puppies, so....

Last weekend Noah and I went with Nonni and Grandpa to a friends house to see black lab puppies. A family that my mom knows well breeds a few litters a year as service dogs and once they are about 8 weeks old they give them away to foster homes. The pups were about 7 weeks old and so stinkin' cute! We hung out for quite a while and Noah loved all the activity to watch. We have some pretty funny pictures of the puppies licking him (and his reaction ;)

Some fun and recent pictures

Here Noah and I are outside enjoying the weather and practicing sitting up! I managed to catch a good shot before the leaning tower fell over :)

Noah is a Bella Boy! Ha! Here he is playing in Bella on one of our recent visits. Side note...y'all need to get up to Healdsburg and see the newly expanded Bella! It's like a whole new store!

Just hangin' while I got a few things done. The blanket is from a student of mine that moved away recently. She made it all on her own...it just melts my heart and I miss her smiling face and think of her every time I get out the blanket.

Another session of sitting up!

I just love this expression

Playing at the flying field

Apparently we are introducing remote control airplanes to Noah nice and early
(sense the tone ;)
No really, I'm just kidding, it truly is fun! He loved hanging out with Oma, Opa, and Daddy up at the flying field. He locks eyes on the airplane and follows it-super cute! He also loves playing inside the remote control case...imagine that...he is going to be getting into all things RC before we know it...and by getting into I mean WITHOUT our permission-lol! Oh, and in true Noah form he has his foot near his mouth. Feet are highly entertaining!
