Justin's First Disneyland Trip

My parents, Auntie Chris, Justin and I went to Disneyland over Memorial Day Weekend to enjoy the 'happiest place on earth'! Justin experienced both Disneyland and California Adventure for the first time and loved it! Some of his favorite rides were: California Screamin', Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain, although he had fun and laughed on everything. As many of you know Justin has an infectious laugh, which makes him a great companion at Disneyland. All five of us had a great time together and will cherish the memories made over the weekend!

Small Town Parade

My parents held their 4th annual Healdsburg FFA Parade-the biggest yet, on Thursday May 22nd (the day before we left for Disneyland). It was so much fun socializing with many of my parents friends, some of which I only see a few times a year. Only a few of our friends could make it this year, but we did get to introduce the parade to new friends of ours from church, Olwyne and Pete. Everyone had a blast, ask Murray, he had a really goooooood time!! Lol!

Mom and Murph you put on a great BBQ-thanks for all your hard work!

An Evening At The Beach

Justin and I enjoyed a trip to the Point Reyes National Seashore to escape the heat when it was 100* inland. Out at the coast it was the perfect temperature and not a bit of wind! Justin had fun playing in the water as I enjoyed taking pictures and reading. Our picnic evening was relaxing and the perfect way to spend some time together!

Family BBQ

Over the weekend we enjoyed a family BBQ where we spent time with Jilli and Dylan (Daddy was enjoying a boys night). Dylan is now 3 months old and developing his own personality. He slept in my arms for a while and then when he was awake I was able to take a few pictures of his smiling face. We enjoyed yummy burgers, corn on the cob, and fresh fruit as the heat wave came to an end, allowing us to eat on the porch!

Mother's Day Part 1

Mother's Day was perfect! My mom wanted to relax and just let the day flow! We played tennis in the morning, had coffee at the Flying Goat, and spent a little time with Jilli and Eric in the plaza (Healdsburg square). We enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Barndiva with great food, service, and ambiance. They have a fun outdoor eating area that I would recommend for special occasions or a gathering with family and friends.
There aren't enough words to describe all that a Mother does for her children, and one day of thanks really isn't enough. Mom, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for enriching my life, always being by my side, listening like a friend, and loving like a Mother!
I love you!

Mother's Day Part 2: The Garden

It only seems fitting on Mother's Day to create a post in honor of my Mom's garden. My Mom loves her garden, spending time perfecting it, and the relaxation it creates. My parents are always tweaking the front yard to create a beautiful scene and wonderfully fragrant roses. As the saying goes...many neighbors stop to smell the roses. Below are a few pictures taken of the family enjoying the garden after an amazing Mother's Day brunch!

Baby Dylan

In the last few weeks when I have seen Dylan he has been peacefully sleeping, so the pictures below are from my Mom's camera...some old and some new, but nothing from the last week or two. He is getting so big, smiling, interacting with people, and much more. Jilli recently celebrated her 25th Birthday, as well as her first Mother's Day. Justin and I are so happy for Jilli and Eric and look forward to memories of the future!

Lily's First Communion

My cousin Lily recently celebrated her First Communion down in the Bay Area. Justin and I were not able to attend, but my Mom said it was a really nice service with a great atmosphere. Lily enjoyed every moment of the day and embraced her Catholic teachings with many of her peers. Below are a few pictures taken by my Mom.
Congratulations Lily!

MIA

It has been over a month since I have posted on the blog and I have missed it dearly. Justin and I went without the Internet in our home for a month or so, but now we are back in business and looking forward to sharing our lives with you. Thank you so very much for checking back from time to time, because we really do love keeping in contact and sharing our life with you. We hope you are all enjoying this wonderful time of year, and don't forget, all the pictures that you see can be saved to your own computer!
Love,
Morgan Marie

Melissa Morelli Photography

A wonderful friend of mine, Melissa, is developing an Event Photography Business and I could not be happier for her. For as long as I can remember, Melissa was always the one bringing along a camera to capture the moments and memories of our lives, and now she is finally taking that passion and skill that she shares with everyone she knows and loves, and starting a business. I am so ecxited for her and the opportunities this will provide for her. Below are just a few pictures she has taken in the last few months that I really enjoy, hoewever they don't even do her talents justice!
