Noah is rolling over! He has been rolling over for a few days and finally this morning I caught it on video. I am so happy for my little man. I have always felt like he was born ready to move and groove so I think being more mobile (and eventually sitting, crawling, etc.) will make him so happy. Yes, it is sad to see my sweet boy growing up so fast, but I am so excited for him! Life as we know it is over...now when I set him down he moves to a new spot so fast and we have hardwood floors, so I have to be careful about where I lay him and the space around him. He is also sitting in the Bumbo seat, which he loves! AND...he is just beginning to reach for toys. He has loved bringing blankets/burp cloths to his mouth for a while, but just yesterday I really noticed him reaching for toys and trying to figure it all out. AND...he has been sleeping for 2 hours for an afternoon nap-RARE folks, very rare. So, despite our rough sleeping night last night, today has been a fun-filled good day for Noah. Now that he is getting more mobile expect to see a few more videos on the blog. Have a great weekend! xoxo

Getting So Big!!

Noah is getting so big. Last night was a rough night as far as sleep goes, but today was fun for one very exciting reason...Noah rolled over twice. Do I have video or photos of this? Of course not :( I was working at school setting up my new 3rd grade classroom and he was laying on the ground behaving beautifully. I noticed he was trying to roll over (he has done this a lot in the last few days) and then I looked back and he had done it! He did this twice and I managed NOT to catch it on camera-bummer. I will catch him soon though and then I will post pictures. For now I leave you with a few iphone photos of the last few days of him trying to roll over as well as him in the bumbo seat and on an evening walk. Please excuse the awful quality :)

iphone Photos: Week in Review

Summer is in full swing and we are enjoying all kinds of outdoor activities! Here are a few photos from this past week. Enjoy your weekend!

Just smilin'
Having a picnic in the backyard
Our first family bike ride
A traditional evening walk with Daddy

At Music in the Plaza in Healdsburg
Ooops...repeat, but who can complain about a double smile :) :)
Noah's first time in the pool...aka...cold water. Ummm...he uttered not a sound. He loved it!
Getting ready for the pool. Check out his cool water outfit :)

3 months old!

My dear friend Melissa took some pictures of Noah on the day he turned 3 months. Noah was not super smiley but enjoyed the photo session as he gazed into Melissa's camera. He was way more interested at checking out the camera than smiling for Mommy.
Oh and kicking OF COURSE...
Here are some of my favorites!

Favorite alert!!! This is a classic Noah face and I just love it to pieces :)

Who doesn't love a little chub!

Here are some things Noah loves...
Noah loves to...

Stand and look around
Come into bed first thing in the morning and talk with us
Walk around in the evenings with Daddy
Face out in the K'tan and Carrier
Look at all the things around him-he is very alert!
Practice crawling-no joke folks. The kid can move when we do tummy time.
Eat-we are in a growth spurt :)
Go for walks
Roll onto his side :)
Take very short naps throughout the day
KICK! This would be his favorite thing of all!

I will post a few videos soon :)
Chat soon,
xoxo

P.S. He is getting way too big way too fast

Our Visit to Sandpoint

Beginning our travels...
Noah was so good on the car ride down to Oakland. He slept the whole way and THAT is RARE!
We left for Sandpoint on Friday night and returned home late Wednesday. Noah did really well in the airport and on the plane. Everyone loved him, including a lady that sat near us...I think she would have taken him home with her if we would have let her :)

We had a great time surprising Oma and Opa in Sandpoint. We went on lots of walks, had yummy meals, and just hung out. Kasten received a rocket so we all helped him launch his first rocket. He was very excited. Stay tuned for pictures and videos of that in a separate post.

Here are some fun pictures from our travels.

And we're off...
Here Noah is in car seat ready for his first ride to the airport.

Look carefully at this picture. So Justin helped Jeremy stain their back fence. Jeremy is shorter than Justin so the shorts he borrowed from him were a LITTLE short. Justin took the opportunity to show of his rockin' body while we were taking pictures. That man kills me sometimes :)

This picture cracks me up. I feel like Noah is saying, "really, enough pictures already folks." And I feel like Phoebe is saying, "Who is this clown next to me?" (as she "points")

Kasten and Phoebe playing around. She loves her brother and he adores her :)

iphone Photos: Week in Review

I haven't even blogged about our trip, but I will very soon. I wanted to get pictures up though. The short version is that we flew to Sandpoint, ID for 5 days to visit Justin's family. It was Noah's first plane ride and he did very well! I will blog more about the trip and include many more photos soon.

Our little man is almost 3 months old! Can't believe it-he is so much fun!

Justin entertaining Noah on the airplane
Hanging out in the airport before boarding
Checking in! I tried to get the Southwest symbol behind him, but it got cut out.
Just chillin'

Sleeping and "holding hands" with Phoebe (his cousin)-so sweet!
On a hike sleeping in the carrier-do you like his shade hat?
First time in the Bumbo-he is "talking" with Phoebe
Family photo on the airplane

I love my hands
In the car seat ready to surprise Oma
A new mobile to enjoy-he loved it
My Back Street Boy! So adorable and yet I think I will get in trouble when he is older and finds this photo :)
