Nursery Video

Here is a short video clip of the nursery!
Pictures are below in a separate post :)

At the end you will see a furry little creature lying in the doorway. She knows something different is coming, and I KNOW she will not be thrilled. She does however love the bird she can see nesting just outside of Noah's window.

Nursery Pictures

Disclaimer: It will still seem bare in these photos as I have no wall art up. I will be putting that up in the next few days and will post new pictures once I am finished.

I was so excited to get the Nursery in order enough to take pictures to put on the blog! I will be even more thrilled once things are up on the walls!

This is the view from the doorway.

I know, I know...what's with the sheep skin you ask? It's not really my style, but Justin loved it when we were looking at this chair. It is really soft and reminds me of my Grandpa's house.

Here you are looking at a homemade blanket from Grandma lying in his crib. I was so excited when we received this gift from my mom. I too had a blanket made by my Grandma Beerbohm that I loved and still have. One side is super soft and the other side is silky smooth :)

Dresser, Hutch, Changing Station...you name it...it does it!

This is the quilt that goes with his bedding/bumper...I am still deciding what to do with it until he is using it.

Silly I know...but I love my diaper bag and look forward to using it. It was fun getting it all organized. I am sure that organization will change a million times as I figure out what works...:)

Only one closet shot as it is not quite done, but I must say that it is WAY cuter than our closet. My mom is making the gingham panels you see on the one side (there will be no closet doors), and I am still organizing things in the green/blue bins. Eventually we will have some sort of book shelf in his room, but for now I am storing the books in the closet cubby holes.

There's a good reason...

Okay, so there's a really good reason why I haven't blogged in quite a while. First, my husband had a crazy schedule and was barely home in a three-week period, therefore we didn't take any pictures of me. We had back to back weekends with multiple showers and of course I got really sick in between them. As I was getting better I got sick again...it was NOT fun and I am still getting over the cough. Being sick made me very behind on the nursery, therefore I had no pics to post of that either. Anyways, I am feeling much better and on maternity leave (whoot whoot)!!! I am finishing up the nursery and pictures will be here very soon. For now, scroll down and enjoy some maternity pics as well as showers for Baby Boy Langlois! Thanks for your patience!

Maternity Pictures

Be prepared to see some bare belly...enter at your own risk... :) :)

A HUGE thank you goes out to my dear friend Melissa for her fabulous photography skills. She had everything working against her and pulled off a wonderful photography session. We had to cancel on her many times due to Justin's schedule and then on the day we were scheduled it was pouring rain...we went with it...and she stood out in the rain as we posed in our bedroom (the room with the best light). Now that's talent!

If you know anything about Justin and our cat this picture should make you giggle...

Showers for Mr. Noah

Although I don't have pictures from every shower yet, I wanted to share some photos of the recent showers that friends and family have given Noah. We are so blessed to have such loving and generous people in our lives who want to shower our little one. To kick start the fun times, I had a shower in the Bay Area that was mainly family and it was really great to see all of them! Then there was a "sweets" shower (me...like sweets...No!) at Sift Cupcake hosted by dear friends of mine. Noah and I were then treated to a yummy breakfast at a work shower hosted by a dear friend! Our life group treated us to a baby-themed evening to celebrate our little one...can you say poopy diapers (ask Justin about that one as he almost gagged and it was just candy :)!! We ended our showering at Grandma's house for a friend/family shower where my mom truly outdid herself with all the little details that transformed her house from a Bungalow to an Airport!

We had babies at the shower! So adorable...

Quite the cake...eh!!

These are decals I will use in his room!

Playing games...word scrambles are hard-well, that's my excuse at least :)

We went around and everyone shared their wishes for little Noah as they donated a quarter to his college fund-aka airplane bank! It was very sweet.

I love this picture for some reason. We all look so happy!

My mom prepared a gift basket that was quite fun to open! It was a wonderful presentation and all the goodies inside are so handy.

Making more wishes...

More pictures from other showers to come soon!
