Birthday Fun!

On Christmas Eve, along with celebrating Christmas with my family in the Bay Area, we celebrated my 30th (shhhh) birthday. In the morning Justin and his parents decorated with balloons and streamers and made breakfast. It was a fun-filled day with family. My mom and I had coffee in the late morning and she gave my one of my birthday gifts-an annual matching pj set! I look forward to it every year :) After a bit we went down to the Bay Area and had a quick celebration with family before we headed back home for Christmas Eve service. We decorated cookies and enjoyed every appetizer you could imagine-including crab!! Stay tuned for pictures of a few special presents Noah received as gifts.

My birthday was so special with our little one helping us celebrate! Noah, you made the day so very special just by being you! Here are a few pictures of Noah enjoying my balloons and a certain daddy having a little fun with static electricity.

My Gym

Let's just get down the the funniest picture of our AWESOME experience at My Gym (that place is so great for little ones). At the end during Circle Time Noah was having too much fun with the sweet little girl sitting next to him. He was particularly in awe of her hair.

Look who else was at My Gym...Miss Jenna

Do you see the tape people?? My crazy son thought is was one of the coolest things at My Gym. Ahhh, it's the simple things in life.

Not the best picture, but Jenna loved the trampoline. And look who's in the background-that's Avery, Melissa's niece.

My Gym has a "skill of the day" and you're lookin' at it folks. For not having a clue what was going on, Noah did a great job. I think he would have tried everything in the room if I would have let him.

Drum roll please...The Ball Pit (Noah's favorite).
Noah does.not.sit folks, but in the Ball Pit, he does!!!!! He just loves it!

There's Cambrie!
Melissa and Cambrie have been going to My Gym
for quite some time and we finally joined them.
I'm so glad we did. :) We will be going back some time in the new year! I want to alternate My Gym sessions and swim lessons.
Melissa, Meredith and I have been frequenting Story Time at the Sonoma County Library. It's so fun and it's the perfect amount of time for our little ones.

Noah was enjoying the story so much he needed to be front and center :) This was after he crawled all around of course.

Noah's friend Cambrie

This has become a weekly adventure that we look forward to!

You might think this picture is pretty boring, however it makes quite a fun tale. Rewind about 15 minutes earlier and the area would look like this:

You see, I was putting dinner in the crockpot and Noah was playing in the kitchen/dining area. Based on the sounds I was hearing I thought he was still standing at his musical toy playing like a good little boy. I looked up and was in shock of where I saw him (scroll back up to the top picture). Yep, he had walked that toy (it slides nicely) towards the back slider. He was so proud of himself. Up until this point he has only taken a few steps from toy to toy, etc. but never had the desire (or ability I suppose) to go this far. Ladies and Gentlemen, I fear my life will be over way sooner than I would like.

Side note: Do you see the champagne bottle in the background of the first picture?? Noah is obsessed with pulling it off of the hutch. Should I be concerned?

Fun Morning

Noah was in such a fun/funny mood this morning. It was as if he was trying to entertain me. Here is just a short clip of his goofy laugh and the two of us having fun.

Santa

Noah's first Santa picture went just as I thought it would (at least their are still a few things in this world I can predict). Noah is obsessed with faces. Right now he has no problem going to strangers and the moment he gets in their arms he has to feel grab at their face. It's actually really cute, it's just a matter of teaching him to be gentle (yeah, cause that's so easy right???) Anyways, back to Santa. Noah went right to him and was very impressed with his beard. He was enthralled with everything around him, from the curtains and lights, to the large ornaments and bright colors. It was fun bringing him to sit on Santa's lap for the first time and I look forward to those in the future.

PS Just pretend that his cute little jean cuff is NOT ruined in this picture by the fact that his jeans are bunched up and his sock is showing.

PSS I predict that next years Santa Picture will be more of a scream fest-we shall see!

One more fun one from Thanksgiving. I was surprised at how fast he went up the stairs-this is just a short clip of it :)

PS I'm glad we don't have stairs because our moover and groover, aka Noah, would want to climb them all the time.
So...one of the highlights of Thanksgiving had nothing to do with Noah or food, but rather some super funny kids (and Justin-haha!)

and, a group of well-respected adults-ya sure!

I was about ready to pee my pants (excuse me for that lovely visual), but really, I would have been on the ground rolling had there been space :)

On Thanksgiving we went up to my parents house for the first part of the day and then we went to Dana and Steve's (Murray's brother) for our Turkey Dinner. Noah loved all the festivities and watching the "big kids" play Wii. He also LOVED our dinner. He was able to eat most of what we ate and that was super fun! Below are some fun pictures of the day!

Checking out his cousin John Daniel

The boys

This picture was so funny at the time...
Noah would not look at the camera; he just wanted to look around. Murray and Justin decided to "be like Noah."

Hanging out with Auntie Tricia

He loves dogs!

So cute!

He LOVED watching the big kids (we won't mention that Justin was often part of this group :)

See, I told you!
